Intro
In addition to the 9 thoughtful gifts for students mentioned in the previous article, but still want to know more Christmas gift ideas for students from teachers? Of course! We have more for you!
Christmas Class Coloring Book
Class coloring books, according to research and expert opinion, are no longer a toy for young children but a stress reliever for adults. Coloring has therapeutic potential to reduce anxiety, create focus, and bring about mindfulness. It allows the brain to switch off other thoughts and focus, similar to meditation.
If you are a class teacher, you can buy a Christmas class coloring book as a Christmas activity for students in your class to participate in together. Coloring utilizes areas of the brain that enhance focus, concentration, problem-solving, and organizational skills. It activates properties of the frontal lobes, responsible for higher-level activities and functions of the brain. It will also help the students in your class improve unity.
A Heartfelt Blessing Card
Sometimes a simple and sincere blessing card can mean everything. And now the styles of Christmas cards are very diverse and very cute.
You can also organize activities for students to write thank you cards to each other. The cards can be made by everyone in the handicraft class, which is both fun and thoughtful. The design of some small details can also reflect your personal personality.
Homemade Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Rods
In my opinion, sweet and salty chocolate covered pretzel rods are the simplest handmade snacks in the world. They are also very suitable as gifts. They are cute and beautiful in themselves. They are just wrapped in cellophane and tied with Christmas themes. The little ribbon is so cute!
Gather the Ingredients: You will need pretzel rods, chocolate (both milk and white chocolate if desired), and optional toppings such as candy sprinkles, chopped nuts, or mini candies, food coloring.
- Melt the chocolate: Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, being careful not to burn it. If using white chocolate, it’s best to melt it later or keep it warm in warm water.
- Dip pretzel sticks: Dip each pretzel stick about two-thirds into the melted chocolate. Place them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper, leaving a little space between them.
- Add toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, you can sprinkle the pretzel sticks with candy canes, chopped nuts, or mini candies, if desired. The most popular small candies at Christmas are red and green M&M beans!
- Allow to Set:Allow the chocolate to set a little, but not completely dry. If using white chocolate, drizzle it over the milk chocolate using a fork.
- Let Them Dry: Allow the chocolate-dipped pretzel rods to dry completely before handling or packaging them.
Also, you only need to change the toppings to make them adapt to any festival or party or anniversary!
Gingerbread
When it comes to Christmas, the snack that comes to mind is naturally gingerbread! Homemade cookies have always been considered a very sweet gift, not only because they’re sweet.
The preparation of this kind of biscuit is also very simple, and it is almost the same principle as the Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Rods above: they are both biscuit base plus toppings. Because of the existence of chocolate toppings, you can use your creativity to make different cute Christmas cookies with different molds and decorations!
The same goes for packaging, simple cellophane will meet your needs. If you want to know more Christmas gift bag ideas, you can read our two previous articles: 6 Christmas Gift Bag Ideas in 2023 and Christmas Gift Bag Ideas: Easy & Fun Handmake!

Scented markers
This can be combined with our Coloring Book idea from before and given as a gift to the students in the class. You can take apart a box of scented markers, tie three of them with Christmas ribbon decorations, give them to different students, and then let everyone work together to complete the class coloring book.
This would be a really fun class Christmas activity!
Reindeer noses
Reindeer noses are probably the simplest, funniest and cheapest idea in this article. You can have a Christmas where everyone wears reindeer noses!
This special little festive treat can bring joy and excitement to the holiday season, creating a cheerful atmosphere in the classroom.
Christmas Stockings
Stockings are also an indispensable decorative element of Christmas, just like candy canes, Santa Claus and Christmas trees.
For Christmas gifts for students, as a teacher, you can directly prepare Christmas Stockings themselves as gifts, and host Christmas gift exchange activities within the machine and between students, so that the gifts are no longer expensive.
You can hang the Christmas Stockings for students in a corner of the class, and the gifts for the corresponding students can be put directly into that student’s Christmas Stocking.
Making different Christmas socks is not difficult, it’s just some small craftsmanship, you can handle it! You can buy a batch of similar socks themselves, and then you just add a few extra little touches to each sock.
Materials you may need include: felt, fleece, or traditional holiday patterns, scissors, sewing machine or needle and thread, fabric glue or hot glue gun, decorative elements (such as ribbons, buttons, sequins, or pom-poms).
Some socks already have hanging rings when you buy them. Pay attention to identify them. If the socks you buy do not come with hanging rings, you may need to install them yourself. Otherwise you won’t be able to hang your Christmas stockings!
